Greta Thunberg Named Time’s ‘Person of the Year’

by Eric Lendrum

Time magazine announced its “Person of the Year” as the Swedish teenager and “global warming” activist Greta Thunberg, NBC reports.

The 16-year-old Thunberg made headlines earlier this year for her numerous unsubstantiated claims of a “climate crisis” that she believes could bring about the extinction of the human race. These claims have been repeatedly debunked by scientists and other experts on the subject.

She gave numerous speeches on the subject, including an address before the United Nations which resulted in widespread mockery, including from President Trump. Her rise led to a handful of small protests against global warming across the country during her peak in August and September, before the start of the impeachment inquiry subsequently took over the media cycle and ended Thunberg’s relevance. She was a finalist for the Nobel Peace Prize this year, but fell short and lost to Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed of Ethiopia.

The list of the top five candidates for Time’s award was unveiled in early December. The runner-up for this year’s award was President Trump, marking the third consecutive year that the incumbent president was the runner-up for “Person of the Year.” He was followed by Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), the Hong Kong protesters, and the so-called “whistleblower” who sparked the impeachment proceedings, who has since been identified as CIA operative Eric Ciaramella.

In addition to its “Person of the Year,” Time also revealed its picks for the other “end of the year” categories. It named the U.S. Women’s soccer team “Athlete of the Year,” singer and songwriter Lizzo as “Entertainer of the Year,” and Disney CEO Bob Iger as “Businessperson of the Year.” It also announced a special category called “Guardians of the Year,” which it awarded to “The Public Servants,” specifically referring to Ciaramella and other Deep State operatives who have been working to undermine the Trump Administration.

MAN MADE CLIMATE CHANGE IS A LIE. The world is not coming to an end anytime soon. All of the predictions that have been made since the 1970s have been false. The “statistics” that have been used to promote the climate change hysteria have been proven to be altered and cherry picked to make it seem to be so. This is the biggest socialist lie in history. The climate is always changing and the forces the sun exerts on the earth have far more influence on climate than mankind. It’s nothing more than a redistribution of wealth scheme. Give it up!

And here I thought Mad Magazine had stopped being published.

I admire Greta Thunberg. The fact that she is willing to take abuse from climate deniers and that she emphasizes that it will be our children and their children who will bear the biggest brunt of dangerous climate change makes her worthy of recognition by Time Magazine. As we speak, Third World regions of the globe now are undergoing climate-related suffering that could eventually spread to the First World West if we continue to be complacent and to allow the fossil fuel countries to slowly kill us.

Time magazine is irrelevant & has been for quite some time. Putting this nit-wit on the cover is laughable.
